Welcome to Season 5 of The Huntsman! This season takes us to the rugged traprock country of Nyora Station, Queensland, where Chris Waters and his mates pursue some of Australia’s biggest and most exciting game animals.
In this first episode, the hunt begins with a rogue buffalo that had become notorious around the station. After being pushed out of the herd, this feisty bull had developed a nasty reputation around the area for destroying fences and neighbors property, fighting other bulls and proving difficult to track down. After some searching through Nyora’s rough country before we finally catch up with him—and the encounter is one we’ll never forget.
Season 5 features authentic Australian hunting adventures, including water buffalo, red deer, feral pigs, goats, and other iconic game species. Throughout the season we’ll be hunting with everything from .375 H&H and .30-06 rifles to traditional black powder rifles and bows, hunting both on foot and from our buggies as we explore one of Australia’s premier hunting properties.
