New Land, New Stakes. After five days in the repurposed water tank at Gosling Camp, it’s time for a change of scenery. The team packs up and hitches a ride with Helicopters Nelson to the infamous Misery Valley in the Marlborough region.

Joined by fellow hunter and cameraman Jurgen, the goal is simple but the terrain is anything but. At 2,000 meters above sea level, we are hunting Chamois on knife-edge ridges. It’s harsh, remote, and physically demanding country that tests the spirit as much as the legs.
