This is the first episode in a new series called Just the Hunt.
The idea is simple: we’ve gone back through older episodes of The Huntsman and re-edited them to remove everything except the hunt itself. No cinematic sequences. No background music. No camp scenes or cooking. Just boots on the ground, real decisions, real outcomes. Just the hunt.
In this episode, Luke Dobson from The Huntsman crew heads out at first light with his German Shorthaired Pointers, Remy and Ryder, in pursuit of sambar deer. The hunt takes place during a long public land hunt and camp in the Victorian High Country, Australia, filmed as part of The Huntsman Season Three.
